who wants to marry me

while weddings are pretty and fun and have good food, and on rare occasions, have men you can actually talk to and make out with afterwards, i have always thought that it was QUITE unnecessary.
i mean, fuck the wedding and buy me a bigger diamond, right?
or, a better apartment?
or save it for our phantom kids who will eventually want to go to expensive universities?
but its not really about the money anyway.

so i get the whole sentiment of it, but i think its ridiculous the way that sentiment is being overused. of course I love going to weddings, but my own personal view is that i would not like to have a wedding, if at all i'd like to have a marriage.
it would suffice for me to just go down to the registry, and sign whatever legal document.
or better still, go to las vegas, get a $55 'wedding', and spend my honeymoon going crazy the way one apparently should in Vegas.

yeah, i think for me, if you say "baby, lets go to vegas, i want to marry you", i would jump into your arms, give you the night of your life and agree with a new belief that soul mates actually do exists!

oh well.
yeah right.
