so im a tad bit wasted right now, i admit. not drunk to the point of throw up, but there does prevail a relavant buzz in my emtpy little head.
i just realised that i may very well be something of a stalker. i follow quite a few blogs, and quite religiously too; and i would dare to say that there are a few blogs i am almost endlessly facinated with. i dont know what it is! maybe its the allure of reading into someone elses thoughts, or somehow very passively being part of someone elses life. or maybe it is a way of silently involving people into my own tiny life.
that leads me to wonder (for the zillionth time) what is with my shyness? some odd bloke had said i use it as a protection. that seems way too easy doesnt it? and convienient too, to blame it on defence mechanisms. i think its just the way i come. drawback? yeah, for sure. but i just cannot be open and free and talkative unless i feel comfortable (or drunk).
but then again, theres another little thing. there are a few people that can make me feel awkward out of my mind, but in the most amusing way. symptoms; first, the inability to make conversation, second, horrible word salad, third, i reach for my glass way quicker. its funny really, and though i may get beetroot red in the face, i find it absolutely laughable.
coming to another point..
if one were to ever ask me what the most important thing ive learnt from my parents, it would be this: Laugh at your self.
and god (or whatever other power might or mightn't exist) knows i needed that lesson. with the amount of times i fall, trip, stumble, make an absolute fool of my self, talk gibberish or sometimes get just plain blonde, if i didnt have the sensibility to take it all with a pinch of salt, i might as well have thrown myself off a building years ago.
soooo, anyhow. the beer is up to my eyes now, and after my random little spiel i think spalying myself out comfortably on my hard bed would be most appropriate, no?
NIGHT!
(ps. i tediously wrote this all last night, and then pressed the save now button, not the publish post button. stupid chick.)

i know EXACTLY how you feel! (about the whole 'following people's blog religiously' thing, i mean.. your blog being one! (feel flattered!) ;-)
unfortunately, I've never felt awkward or shy around anyone, however. well, not yet, anyway!
i do tend to get quiet in unfamiliar settings, though. but that's more because i'm sitting there thinking, "what a bunch of idiots!"
haha..
